Vietnam:
Time: March 6 - March 22 (17 days)
Currently, Vietnam is a problem.  Too much to do and see, with too little time to do and see it all.  As American’s we remember this country’s name negatively due to the war associated it with.  However times change, this is one country whose past should not color your perspective of the present.  Again plans are currently in process, following is a list hopefully to be crammed into our time here.

Approx. Itinerary:

  • Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) and tour of the surrounding delta from which floating markets come  alive
  • Hoi An – an old international trading post, this traditional city boasts fine architecture and nearby ruins, in-addition the opportunity to experience traditional foods and dress.
  • Hanoi – capital and a lasting flavour from the French colonial era
  • Halong Bay – more than 3,000 islands to explore, this magnificent natural wonder ideally is explored via kayak and that is exactly what we hope to do.
  • Northern Vietnam (National Park, hike tallest peak, hill tribes, overall off the beaten track and beautiful – just want we love)
