Memorable for the crumbling fort and palace that presides over the town, hours were spent exploring the nooks and crannies, while keeping a lookout for the feisty monkeys that are now in charge. Literately we were armed with “monkey sticks”, which were conspicuously used as walking sticks so as not to be laughed at by the Indians.
In the evenings we continued to enjoy the presence, conversations, and recaps of each person’s daily activities from our travel companions (Megan, Roger, and Cam). Departing Bundi for Agra, we were sad to have to split directions.
